Electronic archive of American oratory and related texts (Intended for students and scholars; eg. famous speeches/writings from Theodore Roosevelt and John Calhoun); very interesting.
- National Criminal Justice Reference Service, (NCJRS)
Fantastic resource. "The National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) is one of the most extensive sources of information on criminal and juvenile justice in the world,
providing services to an international community of policymakers and professionals. NCJRS is a collection of clearinghouses supporting all bureaus of the

of Justice Statistics, the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the Office for Victims of Crime, and the OJP Program Offices. It also supports the Office of National

A Libertarian public interest law firm. "Once people turned first to the ACLU whenever government violated their rights. No longer." Most recently, Clint Bolick, of the IJ, was at the law school discussing the Cleveland school voucher case, school choice via voucher programs, that he argued before the Ohio Supreme Court.

Another fantastic site. "EPIC is a public interest research center in Washington, D.C. It was established in 1994 to focus public attention on emerging civil liberties issues and to protect privacy, the First Amendment, and constitutional values."

- Drug Reform Coordination Network
Interesting site. How do you feel about America's problem with drugs? This organization advocates for the "end of the war on drugs." Is this a solution to consider? They bill themselves as the "World's Largest Online Drug Policy Library."

Alliance
Advocates for the strict seperation of school and state. "We have no political or religious affiliations. We are strictly educational and leave to others any ballot initiatives, lobbying, or electioneering needed to accomplish Separation."
Think Tanks
- The American Enterprise Institute
The American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research is a very active organization in the realm of public policy and political debate. Their scholars are very active in the media.
- The CATO Institute
Probably the most impressive of the think tanks listed here. Professors Smith and Mayer are Adjunct Scholars with the Institute.
- Institute for Contemporary Studies, (ICS)
This is a very impressive organization as well. The "[ICS] is a nonprofit, nonpartisan policy research institute. ... [I]ts mission [is] to promote self-governing and entrepreneurial ways of life, ICS sponsors a variety of programs and publications on key issues including education, entrepreneurship, the environment, leadership, and social policy."

A Dayton, Ohio based think tank. Professors Smith and Mayer are members of the Board of Academic Advisors for the Institute.

A Michigan think tank. Professor Smith is a member of the Board of Scholars for the organization.
- Institute for Objectivist Studies
"A guide to Objectivist thought and study." Professor Mayer writes and is very active in this philosophy-oriented organization following in the footsteps of Ayn Rand.

- Forbes Magazine Online
The one and only. From Thomas Sowell, of the Hoover Institution (supra), on race relations to Peter Drucker on management, this publication has it all (and that is just one issue!). This is by far the most extensive and impressive conservative publication on the market.
- National Review Online
Milton Friedman and Wm. F. Buckley Jr. (also the Editor-at-Large for the magazine) are frequent Contributing Editors.
